Other things I have been doing this May…

I have been reading Lud-in-the-Mist by Hope Mirrlees. I am reading my libraries copy but look at this copy! It is one of the most beautifully written books I have ever read.

I have been experimenting with soughdough Focaccia bread, I have been using this recipe, and I think today I have finally got it right!

On another reading note, I have been listing to The Cottage Tales of Beatrix Potter books while I paint lately. I am loving them, a little mystery, talking animals, English countryside life, and all the cottagecore vibes I could want! They are the perfect accompaniment to a day in the studio.
